Lucero Belen Rubio, an 18-year-old Hispanic female, tragically passed away on January 17, 2015, in Eden, Texas. Born on April 22, 1996, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Lucero was a high school student at Tatum High School, where she was actively involved in volleyball and basketball. She had aspirations of becoming a veterinarian. Lucero was of the Catholic faith and was engaged to Jacob Lawler of Eden, Texas.
