On June 25, 2014, a fatal incident occurred at the Avistar at Chase Hill apartment complex near the University of Texas at San Antonio. At approximately 2:30 a.m., two individuals, identified as 20-year-old Mikhael Moore and 21-year-old Joseph Kirschberg, forcibly entered an apartment by kicking in the door.
