Daniel Munoz, a 17-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on November 20, 2013, in Houston, Texas. He was one of three victims killed in a violent shooting rampage at the Peppermill Place Apartments, located about 25 miles northwest of downtown Houston. The other victims were 21-year-old Yosselyn Alfaro and 17-year-old Veronica Hernandez. Two additional individuals were injured in the attack but survived.
