Richard Mack Latham

Inspector Richard Mack Latham, a 50-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed on January 27, 1984, in Del Rio, Texas. Latham, who served as a United States Customs Inspector, was abducted from the Del Rio Port of Entry after discovering stolen jewelry in a van that had crossed the border from Ciudad Acuna, Mexico. The four men involved in the jewelry robbery pulled out weapons and kidnapped Latham.
