Patrolman Gilbert E. Ramirez, a 34-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on December 24, 1983, in San Antonio, Texas. He was a dedicated officer with the San Antonio Police Department, having served for five years. On the night of his death, Patrolman Ramirez was nearing the end of his shift when he received a call about a domestic disturbance on Tedder Street.
