Steven Mark Hicks was an 18-year-old White/Caucasian male from Coventry Township, Ohio, whose life ended on June 18, 1978, after a chance encounter with Jeffrey Dahmer. Although Hicks has sometimes been associated with Milwaukee because Dahmer later committed most of his murders there, Hicks was not killed in Wisconsin. Contemporary reports identify him as an Ohio resident who was killed at the Dahmer family home in Bath Township, near Akron.
