Anthony Lee Sears was a 24-year-old Black man living in Milwaukee when he disappeared in March 1989. Federal investigative records list his date of birth as January 28, 1965, and show that he was last seen at his home on the morning of March 25. A friend reported him missing to the Milwaukee Police Department on March 29 after he failed to return. Sears would remain missing for more than two years, with his family having no confirmation of what had happened to him.
