Raymond Lamont Smith, a 32-year-old Black man who was also known as Ricky Beeks, was killed in Milwaukee in 1990 after crossing paths with Jeffrey Dahmer. Although some records have circulated with different dates, historical accounts generally identify May 20, 1990 as the date Smith was killed. The amended Milwaukee County criminal complaint was less specific, placing his death during the spring or early summer of 1990.
