In February 1993, the body of 42-year-old Delores Mack was discovered in a canal along Louisiana Highway 3160 in Hahnville. Her death was determined to be a homicide by strangulation. Mack's body was found just a day after and approximately 800 feet away from the location where another female victim, Cheryl Lewis, had been discovered.
