Geoffrey Alan Nelson, an 18-year-old Caucasian male, tragically lost his life on February 12, 1983, in Cypress, Orange County, California. His death was linked to the notorious serial murderer Randy Kraft, also known as the "Scorecard Killer" and the "Freeway Killer". Kraft was convicted of murdering 16 men and boys between 1972 and 1983 and was sentenced to death. However, authorities believe he may have killed up to 51 young men, making him one of California's most prolific serial murderers.
