In the late afternoon of February 7, 2025, the life of 22-year-old Tykendrick Barnett, a male from Mobile, Alabama, was cut short by a fatal gunshot wound. His body was discovered in an empty lot on the 2400 block of Wiley Street around 4:45 p.m. The Mobile Police Department swiftly launched a homicide investigation into the violent death, which tragically occurred on his birthday.
