In the early afternoon of February 16, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a residential building in the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, in Washington, D.C. When police arrived at approximately 1:10 p.m., they discovered a grim scene with three men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the men, 29-year-old D'andre Williams of Waldorf, Maryland, was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
