In the early evening of May 2, 2025, a verbal dispute at the Westminster Square Apartments on Windy Hill Road in Marietta, Georgia, escalated into a fatal shooting. Micah Lamar Bender, a 21-year-old African American male from Lithia Springs, was found by Cobb County police suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
