In the early morning of April 15, 2025, the life of 30-year-old Shalileha Alford, a Black/African American woman, was tragically cut short at a Studio 6 motel in Tucker, Georgia. Responding to reports of gunfire at approximately 7:45 a.m., DeKalb County police discovered Alford suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
