Joshua Drummond, 22, male, African-American/Black, was shot shortly before noon on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, outside 2531 Maple Street in Omaha. According to early reports, he had gone to get the mail in front of his mother’s home when someone chased him down and shot him in the head before fleeing. He was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center in extremely critical condition and was reported brain dead that evening. He died from his injuries the next day, Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
