On the night of March 23, 2025, Aaron Giles, a 46-year-old African American man, was fatally shot while delivering food in Tallahassee, Florida. Employed by Gopuff, Giles was working to support his wife, Alisha, and their nine children. The shooting occurred at an apartment complex known for its history of violence and crime. Authorities believe Giles was a victim of mistaken identity, as he was not the intended target of the attack.
