In the early morning hours of February 15, 2025, the life of 67-year-old Gerald Atkins of Kansas City, Kansas, was tragically cut short in Powder Springs, Georgia. Police responded to a call about a person shot at a residence on Katie Emma Drive at approximately 3:33 a.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Mr. Atkins, a male, suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
