In the early evening of Friday, January 24, 2025, a grim discovery was made in Columbus, Georgia. Responding to a call at 5:25 p.m., Columbus Police Officers arrived at the 6500 block of Buena Vista Road to find the body of 17-year-old Rashod Barrett. Barrett, a Black male, was found deceased, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
