In the fading light of a December evening in Indianapolis, tragedy befell 30-year-old Dilmer Gabriel Juarez Murillo. On December 30, 2024, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 4200 block of El Lago Boulevard, near South Rural Street and East Hanna Avenue, following a report of a person shot.
