In the quiet wooded area of Capitol Heights, Maryland, a grim discovery was made on the afternoon of March 23, 2025. The body of 24-year-old Isaiah Jermiah Hunter, a Black male from Washington, D.C., was found in the 1200 block of Boones Hill Road by Prince George's County police officers who were responding to a report of a deceased person. An autopsy would later reveal that Hunter had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
