The incident occurred in the hospital's parking lot on Hennessy Boulevard in Baton Rouge as she was leaving work. Jackson was inside her vehicle when she was shot multiple times following a verbal altercation. Despite being rushed to the hospital where she worked, she succumbed to her injuries.
