In the early hours of February 5, 2025, the life of 37-year-old Edna Renee Lyles was tragically cut short in her Fort Washington home. A native of Accokeek, Maryland, she was known affectionately as 'Nae' to her friends and family. Police responded to a report of a shooting at her residence on Livingston Road shortly after midnight and found her suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
