On April 5, 2025, 31-year-old Vincent Idlett was fatally shot inside an apartment at 3012 Avenue W in the Sheepshead Bay neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m., prompting an emergency response from law enforcement and medical personnel. Idlett, a Black male, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and torso.
