In the Glasgow Village area of north St. Louis County, a tragic event unfolded on the morning of December 12, 2024, leading to the death of 20-year-old Jaheim Smith. Initially, the scene at the intersection of Glen Gary Road and Ben Nevis Road appeared to be a single-vehicle accident. St. Louis County Police officers responded to a call around 9:30 a.m. and discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole. Inside, they found Smith in the driver's seat, where he was pronounced deceased.
