In the early evening of a Saturday in North Philadelphia, tragedy struck at the intersection of West Huntingdon and North Chadwick Streets. It was there, at approximately 6:30 p.m. on May 10, 2025, that 60-year-old James Bigelow, a male resident of the city, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Emergency responders rushed him to Temple University Hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe. He was pronounced dead at 6:50 p.m.
