On the evening of February 3, 2025, 33-year-old Adam Broomfield, an African American male, was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. in the 4500 block of Pershing Street. After the shooting, Broomfield was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound at a nearby gas station located at 7401 Cullen Boulevard. He was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
