On April 9, 1975, 17-year-old white female Arietta Marie “Renie” Tinker was dropped off by her husband at the Hippopotamus Lounge on Hollywood Beach in Hollywood, Florida. That would be the last time she was seen alive. Three days later, her body was discovered floating in the Snake Creek Canal, approximately half a mile east of U.S. Route 27 in Miramar, Florida.
