In the autumn of 1994, the discovery of skeletal remains in a wooded area near a highway in Bridge City, just outside of New Orleans, brought a tragic end to the search for Stephanie Brown. The 28-year-old African-American woman's life was cut short, and the state of her remains indicated she had been deceased for some time before being found on October 19, 1994.
