On the evening of January 8, 2014, Fikree Jordan, a 37-year-old man, was found shot to death in the middle of Farrington Place in southeast Atlanta. Atlanta police officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area around 10:30 p.m. and discovered Jordan lying unresponsive in the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His green 1995 Chevy pickup truck was missing from the scene.
