On July 10, 2025, a welfare check requested at a home on Samantha Court in Auburn, Alabama, led to a tragic discovery. Inside the residence, police found the bodies of 34-year-old Tyeisha Shanta Williams and 13-year-old Zynniya Wright. Both had been killed by gun violence. The Lee County Coroner pronounced both Williams and Wright deceased at the scene at approximately 2:30 P.M. Their bodies were subsequently transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for postmortem examinations.
