On the night of July 27, 2025, George Victoriano, 34, a male of Hispanic/Latino ethnicity, stopped at the 7-Eleven at the intersection of Prairie Avenue and Manhattan Beach Boulevard in Lawndale after work. Inside the store, a brief exchange of words with another customer turned into a fight.
