Ever Ivan Florez, 54, a male from Bakersfield, was shot shortly after midnight and died in the street where he fell. Just after 12:22 a.m. on July 8, 2025, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Pacheco Road for reports of a shooting. They arrived to find a victim on the ground and an alleged suspect still at the scene. The Kern County Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as Ever Ivan Florez, 54, and determined he died at the scene from gunshot wounds.
