In the summer of 2025, the life of 8-year-old Kylen Khole Powell, a young male from Bainbridge, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the night of Friday, July 11th, while at his grandmother's house on Vada Road, Kylen was shot and killed. The person responsible was his 13-year-old cousin. When Decatur County deputies arrived at the residence around 11:40 p.m., they found young Kylen unresponsive.
