On a Wednesday evening in Jonesboro, Georgia, a verbal dispute in a shopping plaza parking lot escalated into a fatal encounter. Seventeen-year-old Qi'Adrian Gordon was shot multiple times on June 25, 2025, in the parking lot of the Lovejoy Village Shopping Complex on Tara Boulevard.
