In the summer of 2025, the life of Jorge Luis Chico-Sanchez, a 39-year-old man, was cut short by an act of gun violence in Savannah, Georgia. On the evening of June 19th, police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Gable Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered a male victim who had succumbed to his injuries. The following day, the Chatham County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as Jorge Luis Chico-Sanchez.
