In the early morning hours of July 14, 2025, the life of 18-year-old Darrshin Montgomery was tragically cut short in New Orleans. Responding to a call of a man shot just before 6:00 a.m., New Orleans Police Department officers arrived at the 9000 block of Middle Borough Road in the Little Woods area of New Orleans East.
