On the night of the Fourth of July, a celebration in Dequincy, Louisiana, turned tragic, ending in the death of 26-year-old Cortez D. Boston. At approximately 10 p.m., deputies from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 1100 block of Allen Street following a 911 call.
