In the early hours of a late June morning in New Orleans, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of the Holy Cross neighborhood. When police officers arrived at the intersection of Douglass and Delery streets around 12:38 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, they discovered a grim scene.
