On the morning of July 5, 2025, violence erupted in the Indian Mound neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri, claiming the life of 51-year-old Hispanic male Jorge Grageda. Just after 5:00 a.m., Kansas City police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of North Bellaire Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, responding officers were directed to the rear of a residence where they discovered Grageda suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
