In the early hours of Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, the life of 27-year-old Jamorine Demarcus Cook was tragically cut short in Grenada, Mississippi. The quiet of the morning was shattered around 2:30 a.m. by the sound of gunfire in the 200 block of Levee Street. When Grenada Police arrived at the scene, they discovered Cook suffering from grave injuries.
