In the late morning of a Saturday in Baton Rouge, a burst of violence shattered the ordinary atmosphere of a fast-food restaurant. On October 18, 2025, 22-year-old Sedrick Taylor was shot and killed at the McDonald's located at 6910 Airline Highway.
