In the pre-dawn hours of Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the quiet of a Rome, Georgia neighborhood was shattered by a grim discovery. The body of 18-year-old Adam Taylor Hernandez was found lying in the middle of Woodcreek Way just before 5:30 a.m. The young man had sustained a gunshot wound and was rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a couple of hours later, with his mother, Candy Coxaj, by his side.
