In the early morning hours of October 14, 2025, 29-year-old Trinity Staten, a Black woman from Normandy, Missouri, was shot and killed in St. Louis. The incident occurred just after 2:20 a.m. outside a Mobil gas station in the North Riverfront neighborhood.
