In the early evening hours of October 11, 2025, Jarmone Smith, a 42-year-old male, was fatally shot in the Leonidas neighborhood of New Orleans. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the 2600 block of Cambronne Street. Responding officers discovered Smith suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.
