In the Walnut Park East neighborhood of St. Louis, a dispute tragically escalated to homicide on the afternoon of November 3, 2025. Javon Carter, a 39-year-old male, was found lying in the street at the intersection of Prange and Genevieve avenues shortly after 3:15 p.m. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
