In the early morning hours of November 2, 2025, the life of 32-year-old Broderick Morris, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in downtown Baltimore. At approximately 1:35 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers from the Central District responded to a report of a shooting on the 300 block of W. Lexington Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Morris suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
