In the late afternoon of November 14, 2025, a visit to so-called friends turned fatal for Darrell McBride, a 37-year-old male from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. McBride had driven to the 2700 block of Lorraine Street with the intention of selling some personal items. Instead of a simple transaction, he was met with a brutal ambush.
