On the night of December 19, 2025, Long Beach Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1500 block of Summit Street, near Caspian Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene around 10:51 p.m., authorities discovered 23-year-old female Daisy Uribe inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper body. Police and Long Beach Fire Department paramedics attempted to render life-saving aid, but she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
