On December 17, 2025, the quiet community of Rincon, Georgia, was shaken by a tragic discovery at a residence on Goshen Road. Deputies from the Effingham County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the home at 574 Goshen Road shortly before 3:00 p.m., responding to reports concerning the welfare of the occupants. Upon entering the property, investigators found the bodies of two individuals inside the house. Among the deceased was 35-year-old female Amber Victoria Millican, a resident of the home.
