Lydell Harton, a 48-year-old Black / African American man, was fatally shot in a brazen daylight attack on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in the Tri-Taylor neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident unfolded around 1:20 p.m. in the parking lot of a White Castle restaurant located at 2356 West Roosevelt Road.
